Welcome to our website. I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Kristen Snook-Lacy; I have been involved with horses, for more than 35 years. I have shown in all three seats at the National, AA AHSA level, and at World Championships, on many different breeds of horses. Including Morgans, Arabians, Quarter Horses, Pinto, Paints, Thoroughbreds, and Saddlebreds. I have also worked with some of the top endurance trainers in the world. Including Valerie Kanavy, two time Gold Medal Winner (1994, 1998) in Endurance Racing. In 1996 her daughter Danielle won the Gold Medal, and Valerie brought home the Silver Medal. I was with Valerie in 1998, in Dubai, (UAE), when she won the Gold Medal for the USA. (This equestrian event was listed in the Guinness book of world records as the largest world equine event ever held). I flew with her horses and the United States Equestrian Team (USET) Horses, to several large events, in different countries around the world. I also traveled this country, with Valerie, racing and competing and pit crewing, her horses. I feel privileged to have worked with some of the best, veterinarians, acupuncturists, chiropractors, nutritionists, and horsemen and horsewomen in the world. I have trained in dressage for many years on many different horses. I was instructed by Robin Culver-Groves, and Jane Ashley, both from Vermont. I worked with Alexandra Kurland for three years, on a weekly basis, learning her techniques, to round penning, and natural horsemanship, as well as some of John Lyons, Linda Tellington-Jones, Monty Roberts, and Buck Brannamans methods, of this natural horsemanship work. My Parents have also been very influential to me, they both still ride and compete successfully in endurance riding.
