Wireless is defined as no leads are connected to the rider.

The system electronic components (Receiver watch and Transmitter) are water-resistant.. You may ride in the rain, wash, sponge, or swim your horse with the V-MAX. Water will not harm your monitor.

The V-MAX, receiver and transmitter, are designed to allow the user to change the batteries. Do not send the monitor to us for battery replacement.

All V-MAX Systems use a replaceable battery Transmitter. The transmitter from CARDIOSPORT is a solid block style. There are NO flex ends to break. The CARDIOSPORT Transmitter features a 'coin' removable cap. We have found this transmitter to be very rugged and reliable. The battery is very easy to change.
